Custom packaging can transform your product’s presentation and amplify your brand’s impact. At W Packaging, we specialize in creating eye-catching custom printed boxes that can elevate your product’s appeal. Whether you’re designing your first custom pizza box or looking to refine existing packaging, this guide will walk you through the essential steps and requirements for submitting your designs to ensure top-quality results.

Choosing Your Printing Options: We offer versatile printing options to suit various needs and budgets:

  • Color Options: Choose from 1, 2, 3, or 4-color printing to match your brand’s palette and design requirements.
  • Coverage and Bleed: Opt for up to 30% coverage for subtle elegance or go bold with full bleed and high graphic printing for a standout look. Remember to add a minimum of 1/8″ bleed on all sides to ensure a seamless appearance.

Need Professional Artwork? Don’t have a design ready? Our skilled graphic designers are here to help you create a stunning visual for your custom box at an additional cost. If you already have artwork and need minor adjustments, we’re happy to make those tweaks at no extra charge.

Artwork Submission Guidelines: To ensure the highest quality printing, please follow these guidelines when submitting your files:

  • Color Specifications: All artwork must be supplied in Pantone Colors to guarantee color accuracy.
  • File Formats: We highly prefer artwork in the following formats:
    • Adobe Illustrator (AI)
    • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
    • Adobe Photoshop (TIFF, PSD, or PSB)
    • Contact us if you have other formats, and we’ll accommodate where possible.
  • Resolution and Quality: For any photography included in your design, images should be high resolution—ideally between 300dpi and 720dpi at full size, or a minimum of 3000×2000 pixels. This ensures clarity and detail in the printed result.
  • Vector and Fonts: Prepare text or line art, such as logos, in vector format. Convert all fonts to paths, curves, or outlines to avoid any issues with font availability or rendering.

Specifying Your Box Size: To ensure your design fits perfectly, specify your box size during the submission process. Our standard box depth is 1 5/8″, but we can accommodate various dimensions based on your needs.

Custom printed boxes are more than just packaging; they’re a powerful branding tool that can significantly enhance your product’s marketability. By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure that your packaging not only looks professional but also captures the essence of your brand. At W Packaging, we are committed to helping you create packaging that impresses and delights.
